How does your service stand out?

Offering coaching services online provides a unique convenience for Clients who lead busy lives and require flexible options.

Thought & Behavior challenges are the heart of this coaching business services, and by specializing in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), where focus is targeted for optimum and immediate development, I supply techniques such as reframing, anchoring, mirroring, and creating rapport to help Clients significantly develop a language style that moves and adapts confidently and progressively no matter where they are in life or what they are doing.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

As an Education Specialist, NLP Coach & Life Coach-Life Change expert, the enjoyment is during the moment a Client witnesses changes in their language, thoughts, beliefs and more for where the language spoken or not spoken before is no longer holding them back nor any other obstacles that bring negativity and non-productivity to the Client’s life or the Client’s environments. In all my coaching expertise’s, I enjoy being part of the process sharing my knowledge and experience to help train and offer guidance to others dealing with personal struggles, frustrations, uncertainties, pain, tears, and most of all, witnessing the “aha” moments. It is these successes of my Clients that make the services I provide enjoyable and satisfying because the work we (Coach and Client) do together positively shows for itself.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  • All coaching services provided begin with a FREE initial consultation. The potential Client briefly discloses his or her important concern and determines if the Coach and Client relationship will be a good fit.

  • If the potential Client decides to move forward and become a paying Client, after the Free initial consultation and prior to the first session payment is secured with the company a Contractual Welcome Packet will be sent to the Client.  The exception to this rule is if a different contract arrangement has been made between the Coach and Client and where both parties seal the arrangement through signing a specific contract.

  • Following the delivery of the Contractual Welcome Packet the Client will answer some pre-session questions inside the package. This Contractual Welcome Packet allows the Coach to learn about the Client’s concern. After this, the Client forwards the finished signed documents back to the Coach in the same manner it was sent 48 hours prior to a Clients first coaching session to include an attached copy of the Client(s) official photo ID (i.e. Driver's License, Government/Military ID). Photo ID's are required from every person signed up for coaching session(s).

  • In any coaching service it is requested that the Client have no distractions or interruptions of any kind during the session(s) to allow for a more fluid open discussion and the Client receives the outcome they want which equates to the Client’s successful immediate tangible success as NLP coaching services are short-term.

  • Recorded coaching sessions will take place for the benefit of the Coach and Client. so that the Coach can master discussions to better serve the Client for any upcoming sessions, and for later use regarding the Coach's plans for obtaining certification with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as a submission of a certain number of hours of recorded sessions is part of their credentialing process.

  • All coaching sessions, including the Free initial consultation, are handled online using applications like Zoom as the live communication interface.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Backed by a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a master’s degree in business/health care management, and a terminal degree as an education specialist/teacher leadership, I was able to garner extensive work experience as a medical and business professor, education specialist consultant, advisor, and mentor, offering guidance, motivation, and inspiration in various areas such as life-work-school balance, as well as health and wellness. My educational developments continued where I studied at a reputable institution under the direction of a certified coach instructor. Within the program, I had the opportunity to coach others to rigorous degrees and received positive feedback. Given the intense program feat, I successfully received coaching certifications in various genres. As time moved forward in my coaching experiences I completed and received certification in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) to further my abilities and expertise to help Clients.

HELPFUL TIDBIT: Information across the globe indicates as per state data there are no formal educational or professional background requirements for a Life coach, although most will be found to have some higher education status and or doctoral degrees.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

It was indeed a spiritual calling, even though I was already performing many of the details of a Life  Coach in my own life and professional work experiences. I have always been the type of person who liked helping others (a people helper), especially when I witnessed self-doubt or low-esteem issues in people trying to overcome this limiting thinking as an example. Despite some naysayers and others who couldn’t understand why I wanted to be a life coach much less make it a business, I had a conversation with the Lord about my concerns and praying on this venture I realized life coaching was my destiny and therefore I intentionally pursued it and never looked back because my drive in this venture is helping others push past barriers, succeed and be satisfied no matter where they are in life.

How is coaching different from consulting, counseling or therapy?

NLP Coaching is a future focus type of coaching that encourages SMART goals for Clients (specific, measured, achieved, realistic and immediate [timed] in some cases). Thoughts and Behavior (involving language change) are the key dynamics here with the Client choosing where they want to be rather than feeling like the situation or issue (root cause) is limiting or controlling them due to their own spoken and or non-spoken communicative language. Again, the term “GOAL” is replaced with the term “REDESIGN” in my coaching services.

Counseling/Consulting is past based usually and deals more with mental health issues and diagnosing patients to some degree. Basically, looking at what went wrong and trying to help fix or heal it. In some special cases therapy medication may be prescribed depending on the medical credentials of those individuals.

Do you accept insurance and provide reimbursement for services?

Clients are not covered by any insurance under any of Brenda Rockward Coaching LLC services and must pay out-of-pocket for all coaching services rendered.

NOTE: 10% off online booking for all Clients including Active Duty, Reservists, and Retired Military! If arranged under a Group Coaching requested service through a business, educational institution or organization and the group is all military attendees, the discount is toward the total cost due for the military group. ABOUT NLP COACHING SERVICES

Please note that any disputes arising under this contract shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Texas and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.

Posted disclaimers and policies remain the same and are subject to change in the future.

The objective is to target a topic-specific issue or concern and work on just that topic for the 1-hour online session using platforms like Zoom and involving REDESIGNED and renewed language use techniques with the Client achieving immediate results within 1-hour leaving the session satisfied and feeling empowered. After 3-weeks have passed, a 30-minute post online assessment follow up is part of this service and is scheduled by the Client; the Client must reach out to the Coach to set this up. If the Client wants change, the Client must commit to doing the work.

It’s like a one-stop shop deal for a one-time topic-specific to help the Client change the way he or she thinks and feels thus, the Client walks away intentionally focused on his or her thoughts and behaviors redesigned to meet what they want! NOTE: Client’s face(s) must be visible during the FREE initial consultation and during all coaching sessions for security purposes to be sure you are who you say you are and to include an attached copy of your official photo ID (i.e. Driver's License, Government/Military ID) returned with the Welcome Packet. Photo ID's are required from every person signed up for coaching session(s).

At the end of all coaching sessions, whether it’s individuals, couples, family, businesses, educational institutions, or other organizations, Clients will be asked to fill out a survey to help the Coach develop and execute more ways to better serve Clients.

What is the frequency for scheduling NLP Sessions?

The frequency is for a one-time 1-hour topic-specific session. Scheduling for more than this is not usually a part of the NLP practice as most Clients are able to obtain successful outcomes within 1-hour. Once the specific issue has been defined by the Client and finalized with great outcome and after 3-weeks have passed, the client has scheduled with the Coach a 30-minute post online assessment follow up and finalized it, then this completes this one-time session. If in the event a Client is not able to obtain finalization within 1-hour, then another paid session may be warranted if the Client chooses to do so to reach the proposed outcome for that topic not a new topic.

NLP Session Expectations

No Session can be assigned to another person, group or other entity.

There is a lot of territory to cover in 1-hour of NLP coaching which is why there is only one topic specific involved. Short & Sweet and Focused. It is the Client responsibility to phone in or log in to the Coaching session precisely at his or her scheduled time.

NLP coaching sessions are short-term, close, intimate, and powerful discussions with transparency from the Client on what’s current and with the Coach’s assistance, REDESIGNING a new language in thought and behavior change for what’s current using various coaching models. Although past events are not usually included in an NLP session, if through discussion a past event is evident, and it may help the Client by looking into it more, then the Coach and Client can briefly assess it if the Client chooses this.

If the Client chooses to involve a past event it will be handled delicately and compassionately to help guide the Client quickly on learning from it and how it might be impacting their own thoughts and behaviors and from there the Client along with further guidance from the Coach’s tool applications work on changing its effect.

Again, it is requested that the Client have no distractions or interruptions of any kind during the session to allow for a more fluid open discussion and the Client receives the outcome they want usually within a single session which equates to the Client’s immediate tangible success.

Recorded coaching sessions will take place for the benefit of the Coach and Client. so that the Coach can master discussions to better serve the Client for any upcoming sessions, and for later use regarding the Coach's plans for obtaining certification with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as a submission of a certain number of hours of recorded sessions is part of their credentialing process.

NLP Technique Examples

Some coaching models used involve lengthier steps compared to others. So, it is best not to specifically expect one coaching model as the best choice for Client needs because certain types may prove more evident depending on the Client’s provided information. Some coaching models may even have an overlap of emphasis to help the Client succeed with the outcome they want. Some examples but not all inclusive of methods that may be used at any given time include Anchoring, Limiting Beliefs, Rapport, Reframing, Visualization.

Results Clients Experience with NLP Coaching

It truly depends on the Client’s ability to intentionally move towards a positive outcome. Having said this, each Client is different, which is why some Clients may reach a successful REDESIGN within 1-hour, and some may need more time and thus may need to schedule another paid session on that same topic. If a potential Client, or Returning Client want something more than a short-term NLP experience of language (thoughts & behaviors), then he or she may contact the Coach via email concerning details, costs and payment.

OVERVIEW OF NLP STEPS

The Client completes a Contractual Welcome Packet and provides this packet to the Coach, which is an overview of who the Client is, his or her accomplishments, challenges. The Contractual Welcome Packet will include a section (Topic-specific) on what the Client wants to discuss so that the Coach can work with the Client on this in singularity in developing a language change on the issue for an immediate optimum outcome.

The NLP coaching steps are as follows:

  1. In the 1-hour Coach and Client session, both the Coach and Client will review what the Client’s topic is as stated in the Client’s Welcome Packet and explore the issue and work on the Client’s language barriers using NLP techniques and models and any other techniques as the Coach feels is warranted to help the client.

  2. Homework or exercises may be provided pending the results of the 1-hour session for the client to do on their own, but the Client may contact the Coach via email or voicemail if there is any difficulty.

  3. A 30-minute online one-time follow-up assessment with the Client is scheduled 3-weeks post session to assess the Client’s progression and is part of the initial cost and is scheduled by the Client. The Client must contact the Coach for this.

  4. If the Client wishes to discuss a new topic, then the same steps (1-3) will be taken, which includes post follow-up as mentioned above.

NOTE: 10% off online booking for all Clients including Active Duty, Reservists, and Retired Military! If arranged under a Group Coaching requested service through a business, educational institution or other organization and the group is all military attendees, the discount is toward the total cost due for the military group. Must contact the Coach to arrange this.
