Just to be heard: The Elderly & People alone in Life

There are people who have no one or nothing significant in their life. Life in general can become monotonous at times for anyone and lead to some serious. What helps people in these circumstances are other people; people who take time to occupy, to listen and sometimes just be an ear to hear what the other person has to say. It may not constitute you needing to say or do anything but just be there for them.

Life as we know can be about the hustle and bustle and centers on what we can do next with little time to focus on some other important avenues. Society needs to slow down and take time for the “just to be heard” people. It could be your loved one, a friend, an acquaintance or just a stranger.

If you know how you feel when you just need to be heard at times then you have some inclination to what the “just to be heard” person feels too. Get on board with this track in your life and add it to your to-do list. Make it a priority because one day you may be on that side of life (just to be heard) and find you have no one that is willing to listen to you or even take the time to do so. Don’t let these people’s lives be silent and monotonous; bring life back to them and help them feel special.

I look forward to your input in this area.
